If you could solve any global problem in the world with AI, what would it be?

Revolutionize public funding for AI to foster AI innovation in Europe and reinforce industrial competitiveness across all sectors including SMEs and non-tech industries.

What do you think are the 3 most important things for business in relation to AI at the moment?

1) Competence of management and board in AI implementation
2) Data Management
3) Skilled personnel
 
 
 
 
 What do you see as the 3 most important things for humanity in relation to AI at the moment?

 

1) Digital transformation
2) Enhance automation,
3) Preserving high privacy, security, safety and ethical standards
 
How do you think AI will make its biggest mark in the next 5/10/20 years?
 
5 Years: Edge-AI will support the green transition with support to advanced low-power computing technologies

10 years: Deployment of a Data for EU strand with a focus on building common data spaces, based on the above federated cloud-to-edge infrastructure and services that are accessible to businesses and the public sector across the EU

15 Years: Deployment of AI reference testing and experimentation facilities will provide common, highly specialised resources to be shared at European level
 
What advice would you give executives as they determine how best to employ AI across their business?
 
Make a Data-driven decision and evaluate Internal Capabilities for Tech Adoption.

Take lessons learnt from other AI innovators from the sector, and connect with EU projects that aim to support companies with AI Adoption.
 
What's driving today's progress in AI?
 
Solving real-life problems in strategic sectors where AI absorption is highly beneficial (automotive, manufacturing, robotics, health).
 
What will take AI capabilities to the next level?
 
Easy to use building blocks that will allow implementation of AI solutions to low-tech users.
Connecting End Users with innovators and researchers.
 
Why did you choose to present at the WSAI series this year?
 
I am committed to the EU mission of fully exploiting the potential of AI in the economy and society to reinforce industrial competitiveness across all sectors including for SMEs and non-tech industries.

We decided to participate in AI Summit this year together with the FBOX team to promote multiple EU initiatives that aim to support companies in the EU with AI Adoption.
 
What are your personal goals from the Summit?
 
Strengthen our position in the AI ecosystem. Meet companies that are interested in equity-free funding, associations and partners with a similar mission and get inspired by the latest AI trends that could help us to improve the support AI ecosystem.
 
What are you most excited about taking part in the WSAI series?
 
Meeting AI ecosystem.
