Ahead of World Summit AI Americas (24th-24th April 2024, Palais de congrès de Montréal, Montréal), we asked Joel Gallant, CEO and Co-Founder of CLIC Labs, his thoughts on the future of AI.

If you could solve any global problem in the world with AI, what would it be and why?

Health! I feel like we're on the verge of major brain discoveries that will change millions of lives.

What do you think are the 3 most important things for businesses in relation to AI at the moment?

Businesses need to make sure they protect information the right way. I also think that a business can't ignore AI and think of a bright future. And 3rd, businesses need to start thinking about applied AI in their field and not only language models.

Security, regulations and boundaries.

How do you think AI will make its biggest mark in the next 5, 10, 20 years?

Education is a field that has not seen major improvements in the past 100 year and I believe it's about to change and will be the biggest mark in Ai in the next 5-10 years.
